Silvermines pupils excel in sports and music
Silvermines NS pupils excelled in athletics, soccer and music at the weekend with Billy winning gold and Annie scooping silver in the Javelin and High Jump respectively in the primary school athletics competitions in Templemore while Muireann came away with a gold medal following her group tin whistle performance at the county fleadh in Roscrea and finally Molly-Anne who was part of the Ballymackey FC U13 girls side who secured the Major League after a dramatic penalty shoot victory over Arra Rovers. Well done everybody 👏
