Pupils from junior and senior infants in Silvermines NS having a spooky morning on the final day before the Hallowe’en mid-term break.
Silvermines NS at the Microsoft Dreamspace Microbit Computer Coding Exhibition in Dublin on a beautiful Tuesday in May. Everyone had a fantastic day out and a big thank you to Pam O’Brien from TUS Limerick for all her assistance in preparing our senior class for the exhibition.
Silvermines NS pupils excelled in athletics, soccer and music at the weekend with Billy winning gold and Annie scooping silver in the Javelin and High Jump respectively in the primary school athletics competitions in Templemore while Muireann came away with a gold medal following her group tin whistle performance at the county fleadh in Roscrea…
This week, the Junior Room pupils were busy learning all about mini beasts. They made a small wormery, enjoyed reading bug-themed books, and went on an exciting mini beast hunt around the school grounds. Well done everybody 👏👏
