First Holy Communion in Silvermines NS

Pupils have planted our very first self-pollinating apple tree in Silvermines NS and fittingly it was the pupils from first class who planted the tree 🌳 🍎. Well done everybody and we will all be looking forward to a great crop of eating apples.

Fantastic gardening in the school garden this week….planting summer bedding in flower pots and earthing up potatoes, sowing strawberry plants. We also sowed cosmos, sunflower and pumpkin seeds. Well done everyone 👏 💐 🌹 🌸 🏵 🌼 💐

Our Junior Room had a fantastic visit from Maragaret from Nenagh Library today and all the boys and girls really enjoyed storytelling time 📖 @TippLib #welovereading
