Silvermines NS pupils from 4th, 5th and 6th classes took part in a school based FAI supported ‘Show Racism the Red Card’ initiative and learned how to recognise, identify and and address racism in Ireland’s vibrant multi-cultural society. The initiative proved hugely popular with the children who watched a video explaining what racism is and also created their own anti-racism posters and slogans.
